The Wedding News As We Published It

Wedding Information
Please celebrate with us the freshness of new life and new love as we Alicia Annette Hutchison and J. Patrick Thomas exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June twenty-third Two thousand and one at 4:45 in the afternoon at the Fairfax Chapel on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Chaplain (Ret) Donald Covington will precide.

Directions to Chapel on Fort Belvoir

From I-95 (either north or south) , take Fairfax Parkway exit East. Proceed on this road until it ends on US 1, (Richmond Highway). Take a left on Richmond Highway going North. Proceed approximately one mile north to the MAIN ENTRANCE to Ft. Belvoir (the Pence Gate-right hand turn). Proceed through the gate. You do not have to stop because there is normally no guard posted at the gate. Continue alone this road (Belvoir Road) approximately two miles. Take a left onto 21st Street. The Fairfax Chapel will be on the right. Parking around the chapel as well as by the parade field.

After calling, screening and interviewing approximately thirty photographers, we've decided on 'Photos By Kelly' as the offical wedding photographer. Kelly P. Turner himself will do the honors.

Patrick has decided on Bridal Visions in Falls Church as the provider of the tuxedoes.

Reception Information
The reception will be held at 6:00 PM at the Fort Belvoir Community Club Ballroom. The location of the Community Club is on Taylor Street. (On the Home Page you can get a Map of Fort Belvoir under 'Wedding Location').

We've set the menu for the wedding dinner: we'll be having beef bourgandy, with a variety of potatoes, salads, rolls, and desserts. Liquid refreshments of all sorts will be made available at the bar.

We will have a DJ to play your favorite music. Music to dance to or just enjoy. We'll have everything from Waltz to Disco.

Prior to the DJ however, we will all enjoy the sounds of the marvelous "Trio String Wind" (Timothy Seaman, Phillip Skeens and Ardie Boggs}. They will play from arrival through the appetizers. Both transcendent and down-to-earth, their music can take you on a hike in Shenandoah National Park, celebrate the Colonial times of Williamsburg and Jamestown, explore the wonder of Christmas, relax in rolling meadows, or resonate Celtic drama.
I'm sure you will be remembering their sounds for weeks following the event.
